AHUA Autumn Conference 2024
Registration now closed
For enquiries about the conference, please contact Monique Ojong, monique@yourvision-events.com
Dear AHUA Member,
We are delighted to invite you to register for the AHUA Autumn Conference 2024, hosted by the University of East London, on Friday 13 September.
Please complete your registration by Friday 26 July to book at the Early Bird price (£245)
The final deadline for bookings is Wednesday 21 August (delegate ticket price is £300 after 26 July).
In an effort to make conference attendance as flexible as possible, the conference dinner and accommodation are not included in your package. However, they can be booked during your registration, accommodation can be added for £157.50 per night and the conference dinner can be added for £65. All prices are exclusive of VAT.
The conference programme includes a range of plenary and workshop sessions. Plenaries will include sessions on how universities might fare under a new government and the practical steps institutions are taking to maintain their financial health and futures.
Workshops will explore governance initiatives from outside the sector, experiences of evaluating professional services, UEL’s Active Campus initiative, our regular legal update from Shakespeare Martineau and a development session on personal and organisational resilience.
The conference will take place in The University Square Stratford (E16 2RD). Optional overnight accommodation on Thursday 12 September is available at the Moxy Hotel just a stone’s throw from the conference venue. We hope you will also join us for dinner that evening at The Dome (located within the UEL Stratford Campus).
The AHUA is committed to making its events as sustainable as possible so we will again produce the conference brochure on a user-friendly Event App.
Attending an AHUA conference is an excellent opportunity to expand your knowledge by hearing from expert speakers, to make new contacts and meet up with old friends. We do hope you will join us and the team at the conference and we very much look forward to welcoming you to London in September.
Best wishes
Jim & Sophie
Jim Benson, University Secretary & Chief Compliance Officer, University of East London
