AHUA Spring Conference 2024

For enquiries about the conference, please contact Annabel Pinchemain, annabel@yourvision-events.com

Joining Instructions have been issued to members attending the conference. If you have not received these, please contact Annabel above.

Dear AHUA Member,

We are delighted to invite you to register for the AHUA’s Spring Conference 2024, hosted by the University of Leeds, from 15th to 16th April.

Click here to be taken to invitation letter with links to register the Early Bird package before 16th February 2024. The final deadline for bookings is 14th March 2024.

Attending an AHUA conference is an excellent opportunity to hear from expert speakers, make new contacts and meet up with old friends.

The conference programme, comprising a mix of plenary and break out sessions, will cover a range of topical subjects and is designed to appeal to members in both COO and Secretary roles.

High profile speakers include:

  • Professor Arif Ahmed, the new Director of Free Speech at the OfS
  • Professor Hai-Sui Yu, interim Vice-Chancellor & President at Leeds
  • Heidi Fraser-Krauss, Chief Executive of Jisc
  • Professor Edward Peck in his role as HE Student Support Champion
  • Julia Unwin, Chair of Council at York St John

The AHUA is committed to making its events as sustainable as possible so this year all delegate items have been carefully sourced to be environmentally friendly.  The conference brochure will also be on a user-friendly Event App rather than in print.

We do hope you can join us for what will be a truly stimulating and enjoyable event.  We very much look forward to welcoming you to Leeds in April.

Best wishes
Jennifer and Rachel

Jennifer Sewel, University Secretary & Registrar and Rachel Brealey, Chief Operating Officer, University of Leeds
